We provide serious ballet & dance students with    pre-professional dance training that keeps a strong focus on classical ballet & contemporary dance,          as well as performance, musicality, & artistry.

Dancers in our Performance Company maintain a   high level of classical ballet & dance technique, while being positive role models and inspiring their peers. 

The Dance Element regularly invites Professional Guest Artists & Master Dance Teachers to the Wilmington NC area.

  Our dance studio hosts unique Workshops & Master  Dance Classes that expose dance students to a wide variety of dance cultures & world dance disciplines.

We facilitate opportunities for serious ballet & dance students to train with some of the dance industry's top teachers and attend summer intensive programs, helping to prepare them for professional careers.

At The Dance Element studio, dance students learn about famous literary works.

The Dance Element frequently presents tributes         to celebrated children's authors.

Dancers are given the unique opportunity to perform in amazing original adaptations that share beloved classic stories with Wilmington NC audiences.

Our dancers perform a repertory of classical & contemporary dance selections that ranges from Balanchine, to The Rockettes, and Michael Jackson.

Ballet & dance students make academic inquiries into the history of the art form, and are given the opportunity to learn and showcase excerpts and variations from famous classical ballets.
